The 507's beautiful light alloy bodywork was attached to a strong frame, and the power unit was the then new 150 hp V8 of the 502 3.2-liter super, with an additional 10 hp.The BMW 507 had its debut at the 1955 Frankfurt Motor Show, where it was the undisputed star.
